Aligning With Your Essential Self and Soul Purpose

The Role of Spirituality in Healing

Historically, addressing spirituality in therapy was considered taboo and left to clergy. But as a holistic therapist, this separation feels like a missed opportunity. Spiritual counseling recognizes that true healing encompasses more than the mind and body — it includes the soul. Besides, why should clergy have all the fun?

Finding Meaning and Purpose

In holistic therapy, exploring the aspects of life that hold meaning for you and embracing what inspires you is a vital part of the process. Together, we’ll delve into your understanding of life’s meaning. As we explore, deeper insights will emerge — shedding light on your soul purpose and the unique gifts you carry. This exploration helps uncover the ‘why’ behind the effort and challenges life demands, acting as a catalyst for change and providing a compass to guide you, no matter what storms arise.

Simple Steps to Align with Your Heart

This doesn’t have to be complex. My approach to spiritual guidance is straightforward: What is your heart longing for, and how can you say ‘yes’ to it? Your heart’s desires often align with what both you and the world need most — infusing your life with meaning and purpose and awakening you to your truest self.

Honoring the Life Force

We don’t need to assign a name to a divine power to do this. Instead, we can simply recognize the Life Force that connects all living things — a natural intelligence beyond human understanding. Whether we call it Consciousness, Qi, Prana, Awareness, Presence, or simply Being Awake, the essence is the same: to honor this force. This is the heart of holistic therapy — to honor it within yourself, in others, and in the world around you.
